Where it all began.

Gather Round founders Hannah and Zak know how to throw a good party.

The pair married in the English countryside in 2016, hosting a festival-style wedding for their friends and family to let loose and celebrate. With Nordic tipi tents, food trucks and free-flowing drinks at the bar, it was the best day of their lives to date.

Whilst on their honeymoon, the newlyweds put their heads together to see how they could bring all of these magical elements back to their seaside home in Mount Martha.

From this vision, Gather Round Events Co was born. The business brought all of the best catering options together under one roof, including their classic Pizza Wagon, Peninsula Tipis, Italian Gelati Cart, Pretty Cool Room, Privy the Pretty portable bathrooms, and the ultimate party-starter, The Old Fashioned Bar.

Hannah and Zak believe that a well-stocked bar is a key ingredient for an epic celebration  – their criteria: great ambience, quality glassware, plenty of beverage options and ice. The Old Fashioned Bar is a horse-float-turned-mobile-bar with impeccable style, serving up colourful cocktails and a whole lotta-joy!
